I'm working on an elegant solution for the drop-downs.

The Bar in the lower right hand corner will have 3 sections:

A calendar, a link to golf tips and a video (like on the current site).

On rollover the section will expand (like the video in the comp) and and the other sections will grow smaller and darken slightly to lose focus. On rollover of the video, the controls will animate in.

I'm not too sure about the blue because it resembles google docs too much (though I changed the hue and treatment). I like the blue because blue is a great background color, easy on the eyes and happy.
